The Gate House - Sleeps 2

The Gate House situated near the entrance to the farm on a bright and sunny North facing hill, has its own private shaded veranda with a lovely view down the valley. This fully modernised self-contained unit is surrounded by feijoas, oaks and pines and has all the amenities you will need. The light and spacious kitchen gives you the opportunity to prepare your own meals while still enjoying the environment. The double bedroom has its own shower and toilet and a small but private deck. The lounge painted in warm colours has plenty of space where an additional bed can be included if required. From here it is only a small climb to the public footpath where you can enjoy the marvellous view of the Kawaka and Ruahine Ranges and on a clear day can see the snow cap of Mount Ruapehu.

The Cottage - Sleeps 2

The Cottage situated close to the apple and plum orchards has been fully renovated, maintaining some of the original character but giving it a fresh and cosy feel. It boasts a separate spacious bath house containing the toilet, a shower and a separate spa bath that is ideal for relaxing in on arrival after your long journey or trek over the farm. The lounge with its modern furniture and décor is light and comfortable. The cottage has a double bedroom and a separate kitchen and is certainly a home away from home.

The Blue House Family Unit - Sleeps 4-6

The Blue House has been designed and refurbished to accommodate 4-6 people comfortably. The large and fully equipped kitchen has a separate dining area that is a prime location for viewing the paddocks often frequented by the friendly and playful alpacas. This spacious unit has two bedrooms, one containing a double bed, the other contains a single bed with a seperate bunk bed. There is a third double bedroom available for an additional charge. The separate lounge has been recently refurbished and overlooks a large and sunny decked area. From the blue house you can stroll up the main pathway and enjoy the native trees, birds and panoramic view of the farm.

The Blue House Studio - Sleeps 2

The Blue House Studio is adjacent to the Blue House Unit but privacy is assured. The studio is warm and sunny especially in the afternoon and has a lovely view into the Mangarau Stream Valley. There is a new kitchen area, a separate double bedroom and a large bathroom with separate toilet. The blue house studio is a good place if you like to start your day with a quiet walk without seeing anyone.

Minimum charge is for 2 nights, prices are based on 2 persons (4 persons for Blue house unit). Units have TV with freeview and a DVD player is available on request. Internet broadband access is available. Linen and towels are provided. Payment in advance by direct debit. acc. 03 0658 0195158 00. No Eftpos /credit cards is available. All units are smoke free. Due to the organic nature of our farm, sprays are not permitted. No pets are allowed due to the working nature of the farm.
